At House of Andala Lamp Shoppe, we are here to solve all of your lamp needs.  We offer a vast selection of table lamps, floor lamps and chandeliers (including brass and Tiffany-style chandeliers). We also have wall units, desk lamps and many styles of ceiling fixtures. We provide home and business owners with a one-stop location for lighting products and repair services. Should I Keep or Sell My Antique Lamp?

There are several things to consider - condition, financial value and sentimental value - when deciding whether to keep and restore your antique lamp or to buy new.

Just because it’s old, doesn’t mean it’s valuable, at least in terms of dollars and cents.
You’ve probably seen this happen a few times on shows like Antiques Roadshow: someone brings in a cherished family heirloom that has been in the family for generations, sure that if it’s old it must be a valuable antique.  Last year on Antiques Roadshow, two sisters found out that their mother’s antique lamp that was purchased in the 1960’s for $125 was worth between $250,000 and $300,000 dollars! But that rarely happens.
